ROOF= Moving Element:

The roof is inspired from Shoei Yoh's Inglot cafe, in which the glass of of the roof played with the light, creating an illusion, that is, during the day when the sunlight is at it's strongest, the glass of the roof reflects its surroundings this blending into its surrounding and creating an illusion, and as the sun sets, the light within the building shines out, creating a warm spotlight in the darkness. I adopted this idea in to my building by using creating a tensile like roof with opaque orange tint (chitin- polymer material made of the shell fish like prawns), so that the light coming in is not too strong and not too weak, and at night it will create a glow from the inside out.

The movable part is inspired by a self opening origami called octagonal envelope which has flaps that interlock smoothly. For this, I have intended it to be metallic strips that responds to temperature inspired from Doris Kim Sung's Bloom installation in which she uses the specialised metal strips that flattens out when its cooler and curls when the temperature rises- much like a flower. This idea, I think is interesting.

36 textures from light to dark v.1  v.2 v.2 I did two 36 sketches. I started in my book but when I came around to transferring it on white paper, I felt like I could do more so I have made a few changes and also the last picture was scanned and saturated in PS but the yellow hue started appearing so another reason to transfer it on white paper.  The Architecture Final work: A really simple, I think, work that deals with curves. ARCH1101 My best piece of creative work:                        Ma Cherie  2017 magazine front and back cover.  I love Graphic design and I feel really comfortable working on the computer. Last year, I was in a team to published a magazine, Ma Cherie . I was in charge of the cover and end page of this magazine and also other pages, but I feel these two pages are the best that I have ever done my creative history. All of this was created in Adobe photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign.
